Services provided through the Weatherization Assistance Program

Four categories of the energy conservation measures indicated by a comprehensive energy audit are:

• Heating efficiency measures:  These measures include furnace clean, tune, and replacement, boiler repairs, and modification or replacements of the furnace or boiler, etc.
• Infiltration measures:  These measures include weather-stripping, caulking, repair or replacement of broken windows and exterior doors, provision of interior or exterior storm windows, etc.
• Conduction measures:  These measures include insulation in the ceiling, walls, and/or the building perimeter.
• Repairs:  This category includes any repairs that may be needed to preserve or protect the weatherization materials installed.
